Some individual work unfolds better in community. Triads or small groups are currently the signature container of Mitra. They’re a compelling option for those seeking something different than 1-to-1 work but who have concerns about getting bogged down in the dogma or over-processing many groups succumb to.
Triads and small groups are for committed practitioners for a longer term deep dive in meditation, inquiry and healing. More often, each person gets time for deep individual inquiry and receives direct mentorship. You’ll also learn through short teachings and guided meditations, witnessing others' unfoldment, inquiry in dyads, and other group practices.
Triads include voluntary group communications between our meetings to support our practices and our container. We redefine friendship in unexpected ways. In Mitra philosophy we are learning to befriend our entire lives so sharing ourselves outside of our formal meetings becomes one of the joys of our intimacy.
There is a minimum time commitment agreed upon before you enter a triad. If you have two peers who would also benefit from Mitra, you can gather as your own triad which is a powerful way to deepen your practice relationships.

I am frequently struck by and grateful for Chad’s laser-like acute sensitivity to what might be really going on in me, supported by a loving compassion and an embodied acceptance of all of me. He offers me a permission that I often struggle to offer myself.
